Special Services for anxious patients
No Fear Dentists is our service designed specifically for the dentally anxious patient. We are aware that patients may be anxious about dental treatment for a variety of different reasons. At No Fear Dentists, our aim is to support patients by developing an understanding of their individual anxieties so that we can advise the patient about suitable treatment options. Some patients find that simply talking through their concerns with a team that listens, and shows care and understanding, is enough to give them the confidence to accept minor treatment. However, for many patients additional support from the team is necessary and other options might include behaviour management techniques, sedation, homeopathic remedies or a combination of options.
At all times, our aim is to develop a trusting relationship between dentist and patient with the long term aim of making you feel confident and comfortable about your treatment.
If you are anxious and are booking an appointment for the first time, please inform reception so we can ensure we book sufficient time to talk to you about your dental anxieties at your first visit.
